Leymah Gbowee wins the Nobel Peace Prize for 2011
We are pleased to announce that Leymah Gbowee has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2011. Leymah is a valued partner of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. She spoke at the first of WAGGGS’ flagship centenary events, the Young Women’s World Forum 2010 and sits on the Council of Ambassadors for our Global Girls Fund.
