Join Sangam's Friendship Bracelet Project

We’re inviting Girl Guides, Girl Scouts and friends of Sangam everywhere to make friendship bracelets to help celebrate the global impact of WAGGGS.

Enjoy spending time with friends and have a craft evening making bracelets. Then post your beautiful bracelets to Sangam. We love to get international post from our friends, and we will sell the bracelets in our shop to help fund our programmes and increase the international links we celebrate in our international centre.

What to learn something while you are making your bracelet? Turn the whisper into a shout, by making your bracelets in the red and green colours of WAGGGS’ Global Advocacy Campaign to Stop the Violence.

This project will be ongoing. BUT we are preparing to host over 500 local Scouts and Guides for 2012 World Thinking Day. It would be great to have lots of bracelets ready for our guests to purchase and share in the international friendship of World Thinking Day.

Don’t delay! Get your thread, wool, yarn, scoobies, beads or whatever else you have handy, get together with friends, and make some bracelets today!
