Fun day with Community partners

Water balloons flew on March 12, 2010 when thirty children from Mobile Crèches and Door step School descended on Sangam for the community Volunteer Programme Fun Day.

Participants from Scotland, England and India led the children through party games, parachute activities and obstacle courses, then headed to the playground for some energetic climbing and swimming. Half the children had the opportunity to swim and the other half enjoyed a spirited water fight.

An unseasonal storm complete with hail, capped off the day but the children’s shouts of ‘Bye Didi! Thank you!” rang out above the sound of thunder. Sangam participants and CVP’s had as much fun as the children. Sangam invites you to visit or to apply to be a Community Volunteer!
